Our history is very important to us, from our history we can establish what brought the village about and what shaped our lives here. 

Today is history and tomorrow is history, yesterday will never happen again, the stunning thing about history is that we never think it's important at the time. Imagine, if we dare, we could go back in time and look at the village 100 years ago, no cars, no electricity and, get ready for this shock to the system - no TV!!!! How did they survive without cartoon network? The moon was a mysterious romantic symbol for lovers, not traveled to and explored. People have toiled for many years to overcome and advance, characters have come and gone and we're the poorer for not knowing them.

We have the chance now to save our future history, on film and in writing, to be treasured by everyone now and not yet born,

Our legacy is their future!
